A New Way Of Sensing

Part One

Something new has been emerging.
Not forcefully or in the forefront,
but something quiet.
Subtle.
Still waiting.

It’s as if it is waiting for a stillness
to overcome me.
It’s hard to name with words exactly how this feels.
It is almost like describing a new experience you’ve had
without having anything else to relate it to.

I can feel it there, in the background,
just awaiting the presence to take the stage.
No reaching, no acting—just being.
And that is when it fully arrives.

At first, I thought it could be just a new level of intuition,
a deeper connection with the energy around.
But every time I searched for it, it never showed.
It was as if my reaching pushed it away.

Then one day, the world started to change.

The colours in the sky looked brighter, clearer—
like the sepia filter had been removed from my glasses.
Every moment, every sound, felt more alive.

It was in this moment I realised:
this was not a new level of intuition.

It was a new way to feel the world.
A new way to perceive the light refracting
through the lens of life.

Once I became aware of what was actually occurring,
it was like a new gear had settled into rhythm.

This newfound way of feeling the world around me
was bound to open up new experiences.
Even those moments, sitting in quiet,
had a new sense of aliveness to them.

Like opening a window on myself.

The clarity seemed to be there.

I could feel when I was out of balance.
Or lying to myself.
Not allowing my authenticity to be seen felt… sticky.

And this has been something that has troubled me
through life.

Now it was as if I had no choice
but to finally let the walls down.
To let my heart—my quirkiness—be seen.

That, in itself, has opened a huge door.

To me.
To life.
To enjoying a whole new level of experience.
